Born and raised in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, I have always had the dream of starting up a company that would garner worldwide attention and recognition. Call it an ambitious goal, but it is something that I have dreamed of accomplishing.
I attended the Unversity of Victoria and graduated with a Bachelors of Commerce (International Business). After graduating from the BCOMM program at UVIC, I immediately entered the financial world but within a short period of time, I realized that the world of finance was not my "calling" and decided to pursue other alternative career paths. I got my first taste of the hi-tech world in 1999, at the peak of the "dot.com bubble" and just before the so-called "Y2K" fear with a local Victoria software development company specializing in digital photo management.
Near the end of the "dot.com burst" in 2004, I decided to join another up and coming high-tech software development company specializing in security software to help them grow domestically and internationally.
In 2006, I finally took heed to my inner calling and decided to pursue my dream of starting up my own hi-tech company. In 2010, I started up my second hi-tech company. Needless to say, I'm keeping myself well occupied.
